Chapter 3
In the previous chapter we began exploring the Expression Web menus.
The menus we look at there were ones that are familiar to all Windows
users: File, Edit, View, Insert and Format but they contain items that
are not on the menu in other windows programs.
In this chapter we look at the program specific menus and the choices
Microsoft made for program defaults and see the effect of using
alternative settings. Then you will be able to decide which settings
work best for your website and workflow.
Exercises
Files are the raw code used in the exercises while Examples are the
completed file. (Note some browser may display the text files as if they
were html. If that happens to you, use "view source" in your browser to
copy the text or in Internet Explorer right click and use "save target
as".)
Due to a bug in Expression Web that has been discovered
you should use the revised chapter 3 text file for exercise 1b. For more
information on the problem see the
Chapter 3 errata section.
